Objectives
Once your Play Style has been finalized, you’re taken though a quick tutorial around the menus. You’ll start by going through the new Objectives list, which is set up to help new players to the mode. This will walk you through opening your Welcome Pack, adding an item to a Set (this year’s version of Collections), generating your Best Lineup and getting you started on your first Solo Challenge.
When you’ve completed the first Objective list, a second will appear. Complete all of these except for the one about completing a Head To Head Seasons game.
PRO TIP - The fastest way to lose interest in MUT is to go online with a 60 overall team and get rolled. From personal experience, it would be wise to not go into Head To Head Seasons until your team is around 80 overall and you’ve had time to learn your players.
Great idea--but you might then ask “How do you get to an 80 overall team?”. Here is where you have to realize that creating the Ultimate Team is a marathon, not a sprint. Unless you have vast amounts of real money that you feel like handing to EA, that is. In that case, you can become Usain Bolt in the Olympics. But that’s probably not you.
Coincidentally, this is where your first decision on spending real money comes into play.
