Jurassic Park 4 director Colin Trevorrow has taken a leaf out of the books of Marc Webb and Bryan Singer by tweeting teaser images before shooting has even begun.
And if this introductory reveal is anything to go by, we can expect a slew of tantalising tidbits from Trevorrow between now and JP4 ’s eventually release.
For fans of the franchise, Trevorrow’s one-word description of the image should be instantly familiar: Nublar. It’s the name of the island that played host to John Hammond’s ethically dubious theme-park in the first movie, with The Lost World and JP3 relocating to sister site Isla Sorna, where the dinos were reared before being moved to the park.
Any hint that this’ll return to the turf (figurative and literal) of the original adventure, and distance itself from the lesser sequels, is a truly welcome one.
Jurassic Park 4 is scheduled to open in 2014.
