How to get Ancient Bone in Palworld
It's of the more exotic crafting resources for Ancient Technologies, but finding it isn't easy
Finding Ancient Bone in Palworld is not easy, as it's perhaps one of the rarest resources in the game, found only in one very small, secluded location. There's not even a Fast Travel point on the island where you get it to make life easier. So you'll either need one of the new flying mounts or a water one to get there every time.
You can only obtain Ancient Bone at the No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary, which is a forcefield-protected island off the northeast coast of the Desiccated Dunes. However, once you finally make your way over the ocean, your problems are far from over, as I can explain below.
Where is Palworld Ancient Bone?
Palworld Ancient Bone can only be found at the No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary, which is off the coast of the Dessicated Desert. You'll find the resource by mining skeletal remains in this area - note that skeletal remains found in other areas of Palpagos don't drop Ancient Bone.
The No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary in the forcefield-protected island to the northeast of the Dessicated Desert, and there is no Fast Travel point there, so you'll need to use either the Deep Sand Dunes or The Furthest Flats travel points.
Once you get to the island, getting Ancient Bone is still far from easy, as there are level 50+ Alpha Pals roaming the area, and security drones crossing the skies. As a result you'll need to stealth around the area to get in and out alive - by crouching and avoiding the red scanner of the drones you can make your way to skeletal remains you can see, mine them, and get out - but always keep one eye on your surroundings until you're in the clear.

After studying Music and Lifestyle journalism and writing a column for a stylish lifestyle magazine in her hometown of Brighton, Danielle finally found her feet writing about videogames for WePC in 2021. She then honed her guides writing skills at PCGamesN between 2022 and 2026, when she took those skills to GamesRadar as a Guides Writer. Danielle's guides are a safe space - she definitely got stuck before you did, which is why she's perfect for the job. When she's not replaying the Silent Hill games or a more up-to-date single-player horror game, you'll find her fighting for her life in Dead by Daylight, tending to a garden in Stardew Valley, or doing both in Minecraft.
