How to get Shining Wish Notes and the Pokopia Jirachi habitat
Here's how to complete the Pokopia Jirachi event by getting Shining Wish Notes and completing the Jirachi habitat
Pokopia events take place pretty regularly in the adorable Pokemon life game, and they all offer some great, event-exclusive items and rewards, while others even let you invite new Pokemon to move in.
During both the More Spores for Hoppip and Sableye's Gem Hunt events, players were tasked with collecting items from Dream Islands to unlock new habitat items and invite these new Pokemon to stay forever. This time, though, Jirachi is asking for something a little different, so here's what you need to know about the Pokopia Jirachi event and how to get Shining Wish Notes.
Pokopia Jirachi event dates
The Wish Upon a Jirachi Pokopia event takes place between June 23 and July 8, 2026, when it will end at 5am local time. During the event, you can meet Jirachi and invite them to live in any of your towns.
To do so, you'll need to talk to Jirachi at the Withered Wasteland Pokemon Center, where they will ask you for some Shining Wish Notes.
Craft Wish Notes
To get them, first craft Wish Notes at any crafting bench using Vine Rope - Jirachi will give you the recipe.
Do favors for Pokemon
Next, you need to find Pokemon with favors to ask of you. You'll know these Pokemon from speech bubbles above their heads that read, "How should I approach this", "What shall I do?", or similar. Speak to these Pokemon to accept their requests and give them a Wish Note.
These Pokemon can be found around the Withered Wasteland, but if you want more Shining Wish Notes, Pokemon will be asking favors in every town.
Complete requests to obtain Shining Wish Notes
Now all you have to do is complete these requests! Some will ask you to make food and others may ask for certain items to be placed in their home. Others may even ask for brand-new habitats. From my experience, it doesn't look as though a Pokemon can ask for anything you don't already know the recipe for, though, while new habitats will be shown.
Once you complete a request, speak to the Pokemon in question and they'll give back their Wish Note, now shining gloriously! If you forget what anyone asked of you, can can always check in your Pokedex.
Trade Shining Wish Notes at the Pokemon Center
Now, you can trade your Shiny new Wish Notes inside the Withered Wasteland Pokemon Center, where Jirachi is now tending shop. The items you can buy are below, and some of them will be required to create the perfect habitat for the Mythical Pokemon.
To create the habitat, you actually only need four Shining Wish Notes, but I'll show you more on that further down.
- Jirachi Lamp - 1 Shining Wish Note
- Moon Clock - 1 Shining Wish Note
- Star Mat - 1 Shining Wish Note
- Star Wall Decoration - 1 Shining Wish Note
- Star Shaped Dresser - 1 Shining Wish Note
- Cloud Table - 1 Shining Wish Note
- Starry-Sky Bed - 1 Shining Wish Note
- Star Closet - 1 Shining Wish Note
- Telescope - 1 Shining Wish Note
- Cloud Cannon - 1 Shining Wish Note
As you can see from the list above, you can get every item available for just ten Shining Wish Notes, so it shouldn't take you too long to complete the Jirachi Pokopia event. What's more, you may already have a Telescope in your inventory, though it won't be the same pretty color as this one as standard.
If you want more of these items, you can keep complete as many favors as you have Pokemon throughout the week-long event.
Pokopia Jirachi habitat information
The items you need to create the Surrounded by Stars Jirachi habitat in Pokopia are:
Weekly digests, tales from the communities you love, and more
- Star Closet
- Cloud table
- Starry-sky bed
- Jirachi Lamp
Place these items anyway you wish, as long as they are in a five-block area, and ensure that the lamp is powered on by inviting a Pokemon with the Generate ability to follow you to it. Once the lamp is powered, the habitat will activate.
However, you won't be able to invite Jirachi to move in until the event is over, as they'll be too busy trading in the Pokemon Center.
