Disney and Lucasfilm may have released the final trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu last week, but the studios still have a few more clips up their sleeves. And in a new TV spot, little Grogu finds himself in a rather sticky situation. Literally.
The promo, which is doing the rounds on Twitter, shows Grogu venturing around a forest-type area with a group of Anzellans, AKA the tiny aliens that were first introduced in The Rise of Skywalker. But the puny pack soon get themselves into a bit of trouble when Grogu wanders to the edge of a swamp and a gross-looking fish creature gobbles him up. Luckily, the beast spits him back out pretty quickly. Phew.
DONT EAT HIM?!!?!!??? pic.twitter.com/Li9G6JUcv8
The TV spot arrives just days after Jon Favreau revealed the first full scene from the movie during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The footage showed Grogu alone on the Razor Crest, as Pedro Pascal's bounty hunter gets caught up in a high-speed chase with a car full of Stormtroopers. As Mando tries to get to Grogu, he instructs the littlun to start up the ship. He doesn't have much luck operating the heavy machinery, though. Will the green guy ever catch a break?
Article continues belowThe footage above may be just the tip of the iceberg as to how much danger Grogu will face in the new Star Wars movie. The film has been described as a "story of love and loss," and in the first trailer, we hear Jabba the Hutt warn Mando that he won't always be there for Grogu. Now we are really worried.
Set after the events of The Mandalorian season 3, the duo's big-screen adventure picks up with 'em as they join the fight to protect the New Republic following the fall of the evil Empire. As well as Pascal, The Mandalorian and Grogu features franchise newcomers Jeremy Allen White and Sigourney Weaver.
