Avengers: Doomsday directors are promising a "surprise" for UK Marvel fans at a curious location
The Russo Brothers are headed to... a coffee shop
We're still a ways away from Avengers: Doomsday, but directors Joe and Anthony Russo have posted yet another cryptic tease... this time with a location.
Last week, The Russos posted the color green on Instagram... and nothing else (though this is likely a nod to Doctor Doom's green costume). This time around, The Russo brothers have posted a Doctor Doom logo (with that same green in it, mind you) alongside the following caption: #DomLatveria 4b Holywell Ln London EC2A 3ET. Starts June 2nd at 10am BST. Surprise at 2pm BST." You can check it out below.
Firstly, Latveria is the fictional dictatorship that Doom rules over. Secondly, the address in the caption is for a London coffee shop known as Flying Horse. And if you're confused... we are, too, especially given that an extensive Google search reveals zero connections to Marvel or the Russos... As for the surprise, my bets are on an appearance from none other than Robert Downey Jr., especially considering how much the actor loves fan events (and who could forget that epic San Diego Comic Con Doom reveal?)

This seems to be just another part of the largely unconventional marketing for the upcoming film, the first being that very long and dramatic casting reveal live stream (which didn't reveal everyone, as evidenced by Kathryn Newton's late announcement).
Avengers: Doomsday releases in theaters on December 18 (aka, Dunesday). For more, check out our list of upcoming Marvel movies, or get up to speed with our Marvel timeline.
