Black Friday OLED TV deals will return in 2025, and I've got a feeling it'll be a great year for premium panel savings. You're always going to pay more for the top displays by LG, Samsung, and Sony that boast the vibrant screen tech, but since there are more models now on the scene at different price points, we should see some excellent savings on even the most expensive options.

Most of the best gaming TV options out there are OLED. That's not to knock mini LED and QLED alternatives, as those certainly have a place at the table. But, if you're looking for enhanced colors and contrast paired with excellent brightness, Organic LED tech is the way to go. Not only will you end up a vivid portal to your favorite PS5 and Xbox Series X worlds, but new screens like the LG OLED G5 can even serve up a 165Hz refresh rate for PC players.

Ahead of Black Friday 2025, I'm already building a picture of what to expect in terms of OLED TV deals. I'm fully expecting LG's 2024 line-up to take a price cut now that the G5 and C5 have entered the ring, but there should be also plenty of other offers that'll help you upgrade to the perfect panel.

When is Black Friday 2025?

Black Friday 2025 will kick off November 28 this year, but you'll also be able to grab early deals and discounts in the weeks before the big weekend event. You'll also have a last chance to snag some savings during Cyber Monday, as that will close out the sale season on December 1.

Black Friday OLED TV deals: what to expect

TV reviewer Phil Hayton using LG magic remote to navigate OLED G4 home screen

(Image credit: Future / Phil Hayton)

It's arguably too early to predict exact Black Friday OLED TV deals, but with screen makers now releasing new 2025 models, it's safe to say last year's offerings should get cheaper. I'm already seeing some neat savings on flagship favorites like the LG OLED G4, as you can now grab the 55-inch version for $1,796.99 at Amazon. While I know some of you will want to wait for potential G5 discounts, there's no guarantee the top model will drop far from MSRP this year, and last gen version stocks might not last until November.

If you're aiming for a cheaper OLED this year, you'll absolutely want to keep an eye on the LG OLED B4 or the middle ground OLED C4. I'm not seeing any standout record lows yet, but these are normally the models that wait for Black Friday to drop. The B4 specifically should serve as a nice way to grab a screen for under $1,000, especially if you stick with 55-inch and under.

On the Samsung side of things, you're going to want to watch the S90D. It's a 2024 model that reached its lowest during last Black Friday, so I'm sort of expecting this year's event to beat any previously set records. The Sony Bravia 8 is also worth watching out for since it's in the same boat, and it's more likely to get to a sweet spot than its vastly more expensive QD-OLED siblings.

Is there a downside to OLED?

Most of the downsides to OLED TVs relate to their longevity, as the tech comes with screen burn caveats. While most models come with preventative software that reduces the risk of permanent damage when static images are displayed for too long, image retention can still occur over time, particularly if you're using a screen for gaming.

Is it worth getting OLED now?

Picking up an OLED TV fully depends on your budget and preferences. While the tech offers up fantastic colors, contrast, and black levels, models armed with the right panels cost substantially more than their LED counterparts. That said, prices are starting to fall, so you could end up with OLED TV for far less than usual if you hold out for sale events like Black Friday 2025.

How much is an OLED TV on Black Friday?

Even on sale, these panels can be towards the top end. Compared to your average 4K TV or QLED TV, you're spending some serious cash if you're after the best in the business. The cheapest Black Friday OLED TV deals generally come in at around $1,099 / £1,099, with a few headline acts occasionally being reduced to below $1,000 / £1,000 during flash sales. Anytime you see a deal that good, get on it.

We generally see the base LG models at these prices, still offering that premium luxury but without some of the fancier features of the more expensive models. A display with brighter colors and a higher quality picture will usually be around $1,300 - $1,500 over Black Friday. Naturally, the older the model, the cheaper it will be.

How we find the best Black Friday OLED TV deals

To find you the best Black Friday OLED TV deals as soon as they emerge, we use a mix of our own expertise and price comparison software. This way, we're able to swiftly collect every offer available during the big event and assess whether each product is good value for money. That way, you'll be able to pick up a shiny new screen with confidence and ease.

OLED TVs are admittedly a premium panel type, but we always make sure to take budgets of all shapes and sizes into consideration. That means you'll find entry-level, mid-range, and high-end screens with our deals picks, and you won't have to spend thousands to grab a bargain.

Sony Bravia 83-inch | $4,799.99 at $3,999.99 at Best Buy
Save $800 – Similar to the deal above, if you're looking to add a new centerpiece to your living room (or gaming area), this Sony screen, featuring Google and Amazon assistance, might be the one for you. It's worth noting, though, that the same display is listed for $1 less over at Amazon – and it's not part of a Black Friday deal...

LG OLED B4 83-inch | $4,499.99 $2,499.99 at Best Buy
Save $2,000
– With four HDMI slots, NVIDIA G-Sync, and $2,000 off, this screen might be the perfect pick for a hardcore gamer looking to upgrade their set-up. I mean, it's almost 50% cheaper! (However, it is available $3 cheaper at Walmart – and not part of a Black Friday deal).

LG OLED G4 83-inch | $5,348.99 $4,996.99 at Amazon
Save $353 – At 83 inches, we can hardly call this display discreet, but if you're looking for a TV that won't jut out of the wall too far, then the G4 (with its one-wall design and gallery mode) will meet your needs.

Samsung QN83S90DA 83-inch | £3957.00 $3,297.99 at Amazon
Save $659.01 – Even when you're dealing with higher price TVs, bagging the lowest price possible is still something everybody strives for. So if you're in the market for a theater-style display, Samsung's 83-incher is worth checking out.

LG OLED G2 97-inch | $19,999.99 $14,999.99 at Best Buy
Save $5,000 – We're getting into serious money now with the 97-inch LG Class G2 series, but we'd figured we'd included here if just for a price comparison to the smaller 83-inchers. (Essentially, if you want to go BIG, but don't want to break the bank, you're better off sticking with one of the above). That said, $5,000 off is a lot, on the unlikely chance you've got $15k lying around... But, it is $3 cheaper at Amazon without a Black Friday deal.
