Black Friday 4K projector deals: FAQs

When will the Black Friday 4K projector deals start?

The Black Friday 4K projector deals will start earlier than the big day itself - as we are all accustomed to now. While the big day itself is on Friday, November 25 - the Friday after Thanksgiving - we can always rely on the big retailers going live early with their deals to try and out do each other and vie for our money. We always say to be watchful from mid-October onwards, and then very much ready to pull the trigger at the beginning of November if something pops up then.

Black Friday 4K projector deals: what we expect to see

Projectors in the 4K realm are, indeed, some of the most expensive by default. It's no accident that we're seeing the same price differences in projectors as we were once used to in TVs: the higher the resolution the more money you need to spend. And while that's still the case, generally, the tech is getting more affordable. The fact remains that the Black Friday 4K projector deals are the best placed to get the most for your money, year in, year out.

We will be seeing some great 4K models from the top table drop to record low prices this year, and offer immense bang for buck value. The likes of Epson, BenQ, ViewSonic, and Optoma will all get in on the act with their most premium models having their time in the deals sun.

One range in particular that we're keeping a close eye on, however, is the Premiere range from Samsung. These models caused a wave when they first came out in late 2020 by being able to throw a full 4K picture from an incredibly short distance while maintaining their pedigree and premium quality. Be sure to keep an eye on Black Friday Samsung deals for more.

This year's Black Friday 4K projector deals will be the first of such sales periods that the Premieres will have experienced, and while they will still be an Investment, the chances for lowest ever prices are strong. The LSP9T model - the top projector - has come down to nearly $5,000 once this year, in June, from its lofty $6,500 listing price and we'd put good money on seeing that price again - and perhaps one even lower.

We'd also keep an eyeon XGIMI's excellent 4K projector range. These are budget friendly (relatively speaking) even at full price but regularly embrace discounts and sales events. For example, the XGIMI Horizon Pro model saw a lowest everprice in liast year's sales by about $200, and then recently got a new low during October's Prime event - we'd expect this sales price to at least hold, if not tick a bit lower.

Should you wait for the Black Friday 4K projector deals?

If your trigger finger is getting itchy and you're raring to go, we'd still ask you to calm down for a moment and consider waiting for the Black Friday 4K projector deals later this month. This period of price slashes and deep discounts is the best time of year to get any tech, and certainly something premium like a 4K projector. The more premium an item, the higher the price tag, and, more often than not, the harder the price falls.

And you won't really have to wait a full month to get the best (as we enter November from late October at the time of writing) Black Friday 4K projector deals anyway. With retailers trying to outdo each other earlier and earlier, and get the customers through the door earlier and earlier, we often see great prices from early-to-mid November onwards. If you can find a great price o something that's been guaranteed (i.e. the retailer will refund you the difference if it does go lower on Black Friday) then you ca beat the madness and commit early successfully.

Where will the best Black Friday 4K projector deals be?

As ever, it's the big boys in the retail and e-tail (sorry) games that you'll want to keep an eye on now and during the month of November - these will have the best Black Friday 4K projector deals.

Do 4K projectors go on sale for Black Friday?

Oh my goodness, they absolutely do. And not only can we be really certain in saying that  - we've been doing this for years at this point - but Black Friday 4K projector deals are some of the biggest and best out there when the deals start flooding in properly.

This is because, as the phrase goes, the bigger they are, the harder they fall. Meaning that those products and tech items with the highest starting points and largest price tags are often the ones to get the biggest and deepest price cuts - certainly be percentages anyway. And, by extension of that, as 4K projectors are the units in the field that demand the higher price tags by default, these are the ones we often see the most exciting deals on.

Keep in mind that discounts on displays will come in all forms this season so it's also worth keeping abreast of the Black Friday PS5 TV deals, as well as broader Black Friday PS5 deals and Black Friday Xbox Series X deals

And for a broader look at the gaming display deals that will be on offer this year check out what to expect on Black Friday gaming monitors, the Black Friday curved monitor deals, and the Black Friday 4K monitor deals.
