Warzone Juggernaut is back on Rebirth Island

The Warzone Juggernaut is an element of the online shooter that regularly splits opinion among players, with many claiming that it's far too overpowered to be fairly deployed in Call of Duty Warzone. With the recent Season Two Reloaded update it's now possible to encounter the Warzone Juggernaut on Rebirth Island, reigniting the debate once again about whether there's any place for this monstrous suit in the game. Other changes have see Warzone Keycards on Rebirth Island and the Warzone Armaguerra 43, a new SMG to unlock.

Whatever your opinion on the changes, if you're wondering how to get the Juggernaut in Warzone or are looking for ways to deal with an opponent using it, we've got you covered.

Unlike previous iterations that required a certain killstreak or similar to unlock, the only way to get the Warzone Juggernaut on Rebirth Island is via a randomized drop which can occur in any game mode. When this is about to happen, the message 'Juggernaut Armor Drops Incoming' will appear on screen, then several landing zones will be tagged on the map. These events are 'very rare' according to the patch notes, so make sure you're ready to target one of those drop zones if this occurs during your match. Interact with the dropped package to follow the 'Equip Juggernaut gear' prompt, then you'll suit up with the formidable armor and minigun combo.

If one of your opponents gets hold of the Warzone Juggernaut, then unfortunately it's very bad news for you. Not only can they still move pretty rapidly and tear through enemies in seconds with that incredibly powerful minigun, but Rebirth Island is a lot more compact than previous settings which makes it difficulty to wear down the Juggernaut's armor from a safe(r) distance away. Your best bet is to throw any launchers and killstreaks you have at the Juggernaut, stay in cover as much as possible so you don't get insta-rinsed, and if you're in a squad then attack from multiple sides at once.

It's possible that the Warzone Juggernaut on Rebirth Island may get nerfed by a future patch or removed entirely, especially given the negative backlash to its return from the players. For now at least you'll need to try and deal with the threat as best you can, and be reassured that the appearance of Juggernaut Armor Drops is blissfully rare.
