New Gerry Anderson Project To Be Published By Gollancz

Gerry Anderson's Gemini Force One , an adventure story devised and developed by the late Thunderbirds , Stingray and Captain Scarlet creator before he died, is to be published by Gollancz. The project was bankrolled by a successful Kickstarter campaign and its backers will be able to get their hands on a special, limited edition published this August. (The limited edition will also be sold in collaboration with specialist bookseller Goldsboro Books.)

The novel, written by The Joshua Files author MG Harris, will then arrive in paperback in spring 2015 (from Orion Children's Books), with books two and three landing in 2015 and 2016.

"Dad was a prolific creative, and was constantly coming up with new ideas," said Jamie Anderson, Gerry's son and keeper of the Anderson Entertainment flame. " Gemini Force One was one of his final projects, and something that he felt passionately would inspire a whole new generation. In continuing to develop GF1 we've been lucky enough to team up with bestselling author MG Harris who really understood the premise of the project and its 'Gerry Anderson spirit' from the get-go. Now I'm delighted that we're able to team up with Orion, who share our passion for GF1 , to bring this fantastic book series to a global audience. Stand by for action!"

"It's a huge honour for me as a Gerry Anderson fan to be involved in bringing Gemini Force One to life," added Harris.
