Upcoming superhero movies: every Marvel, DC, and comic book movie in 2025 and beyond

There are tons of upcoming superhero movies on the way, especially now that summer blockbuster season is in full swing. In just a few weeks, the new DCU will kick off in earnest with its first big-screen offering, Superman, while Marvel Phase 6 is hot on its heels with Fantastic Four: The First Steps.

That's just the start of it, too, with plenty more on the way throughout 2026 and beyond. Below, we've rounded up everything that's coming soon, so you can keep track of all the most exciting upcoming superhero movies. Plus, we've listed all the films that don't yet have release dates, but that are in development or have been announced. That includes a brand new Wonder Woman movie, too.

So, here are all the upcoming Marvel movies, upcoming DC movies, and more comic book movies headed our way.

New superhero movies (TBA)

Several upcoming superhero movies have been announced and are in various stages of pre-development. However, there's no guarantee that any of these (bar a few MCU and DC offerings) will make it to the big screen. But they're worth keeping an eye on, nonetheless!

Previous DC projects, such as Gotham City Sirens and Green Lantern Corps, are now dead under the new DC Studios regime. Co-CEO James Gunn announced the slate for DCU's Chapter One: Gods and Monsters in January 2023. But, a new Wonder Woman movie is on the way.
