Tom and Jerry Get CG Treatment
You loathed the CG Scooby-Doo. You detested the computer generated Garfield. You probably didn’t bother with the pixel-enhanced Rocky and Bullwinkle, or even realise (or care) that Underdog was a ever a cartoon in the first place. So the news that Warner Bros is preparing a big screen, live action/CG hybrid version of Tom and Jerry will probably leave you feeling about as excited as waiting for bus.
IFC Films has snapped up the distribution rights to Dead Snow, a Norwegian zombie Nazis comedy which caused a stir at the Sundance Festival, reports The Hollywood Reporter . Written and directed by Tommy Wirkola, the film follows eight medical students who head into the mountains for a skiing vacation only to find themselves sharing the slopes with maniacal Nazi zombies intent on turning the snow blood red.
