How to use the Helldivers 2 Supply Pack on yourself
The Supply Pack is one of the most useful Stratagems in Helldivers 2, but how do you use it on yourself?
Using the Helldivers 2 Supply Pack on yourself isn't especially intuitive since there are no clear button prompts, but you just need to tap the D-Pad or follow the resupply button prompt for teammates. The Supply Pack is also one of the best backpack Stratagems to use if you don't have the Warp Pack or don't fancy a heavy weapon with its own backpack ammo supply, so it's good to know exactly how it works and how to use it in Helldivers 2.
How to resupply with the Supply Pack in Helldivers 2
To use the Supply Pack on yourself, you need to tap D-Pad down on your controller, but to use it teammates, you can just walk up to them and follow the interact button prompt. You can change button binding if you want though – open the Options menu in Helldivers 2, scroll down and open the Controller menu, then click 'Change Bindings'. Next, switch over to the 'Combat' tab, then scroll down to find and change the 'Use Backpack Function' button.
Helldivers 2 Commando Missions feature very limited access to resupplies, so having a Supply Pack can be a huge help for the whole team!
The Supply Pack contains four yellow resupply boxes, so that's four uses overall, with each pack refilling a large chunk of the recipient's weapon ammo, grenades, and stims. To replenish the individual boxes, you can collect resupply boxes from the Resupply Stratagem, with one resupply box adding one Supply Pack box to the backpack. Obviously, you could also just call in a new Supply Pack if one is available instead.
The amount of ammo provided is usually a full resupply for primary and secondary weapons with a few exceptions. For support weapons, it's a partial refill unless you have the Superior Packing Methodology Helldivers 2 Ship Module, in which case it's a full refill. You'll also only a get a few grenades back and a couple of stims per resupply.
The Supply Pack is one the best Helldivers 2 Stratagems that goes in the backpack slot. It also pairs very well with Dynamite from the Helldivers 2 Borderline Justice Warbond, letting you lob a ton of powerful explosives.
