Best class in Witchspire and coven to choose
There are six classes in Witchspire, each one representing a different coven
Choosing the best class in Witchspire, also known as a Coven, is the first choice you'll make in the game, deciding on your Witch's starting wand and elemental affinity. Witchspire does kind of throw this choice at you without really explaining the factors involved, but I'll take you through all the classes in the game, as well as the best class to pick and what they do for you.
What's the best class in Witchspire to choose?
Ultimately there is no best coven or class in Witchspire, as the differences between them are actually very minor to the point of irrelevance. What changes is the colour palette of your starting outfit and the starting weapon you're given, which does elemental damage and will either be a ranged weapon (if it's a wand) or a melee weapon (if it's a spellblade).
With that in mind, I would say that if your forced a wand to my head, I would say that the best starting class could maybe be the Cloudpiercer coven, as it suggests that players will get bonuses to flight further down the road in the game's development, but again - that's only if you force me.
The other thing to acknowledge is that different covens have an affinity for different elements, but that mechanic doesn't seem to be hugely implemented in the game yet, to the point where the community seems uncertain what affinity actually does, and the official site stating that these details will be explained later. Whatever the case, it means you can probably pick without feeling the pressure.
