Best Darktide Skitarii builds to please the Omnissiah
I've laid out two Skitarii builds that you can use in Darktide
Creating a solid Darktide Skitarii build is essential as it can be quite a fragile class and has some added complexity with its unique Capacitance and Charge mechanics. However, it can still be very powerful thanks to its exclusive weaponry, Servo-Skull turret buddy, and some standout talents and abilities. Below, I've laid out two solid Skitarii builds that should serve you well in most missions.
And if you're still struggling to come up with a good Darktide Skitarii name, I can help you there too.
Darktide Skitarii Chordclaw melee build
- Ability: Chordclaw Strike with Satiated Steel + Axial Slash (good for hordes) or Slice and Dice + Probing Strikes (good for Ogryns and bosses)
- Blitz: Artificer Servo-Skull with Medicae and Purgator Servo-Skull upgrades
- Aura: Foe-Render Creed
- Keystone: Redline Capacitors with all four upgrades
- Other talents: Power Redistribution Uplink, Last Stand Relay, Flux Conduit Build-Up, Slaughter Protocol, Sustained Assault Doctrine, Sequenced Charge, Auto-Repair Doctrines, Augmented Power-Cycle, Moebian Conductor
- Weapons:
- Paired Transonic Blades with Shred and Precognition
- Phosphor Blast Pistol with Infernus or Man-Stopper and Crucian Roulette
The Chordclaw is arguably the Skitarius' best ability, capable of shredding some of the toughest Elite enemies in Darktide, so this melee-heavy build seeks to make the most of it. Talents like Slaughter Protocol and Sustained Assault Doctrine are going to give you the Toughness and Damage you need to fight up close with your Transonic Blades.
With Shred on your blades and Last Stand Relay, you should be scoring melee crits reasonably often which will then help you quickly gain charges for your Chordclaw thanks to Flux Conduit Build-Up. And every time you gain or spend a charge, you'll also benefit from Redline Capacitors, which will improve your melee attacks even more and let you use Chordclaw Strike up to five times.
Darktide Skitarii Voltaic Emitter electrocution build
- Ability: Voltaic Emitter with all three upgrades
- Blitz: Arc Grenades with Overcharged upgrade
- Aura: Foe-Render Creed
- Keystone: Flensing Protocols with all four upgrades
- Other important talents: Electro-Strike Conduit, Weakness Analysis Doctrine, Entropic Transfer, Retribution Conduit, Power Redistribution Uplink, Last Stand Relay, Augmented Power-Cycle, Flux Conduit Build-Up
- Weapons:
- Branx Mk III Arc Maul with Enhanced Voltaic Arcs and Execution
- Branx Mk IV Arc Rifle with Enchanced Voltaic Arcs and Cavalcade
This build's focus is on electrocuting the hordes of Tertium as much as possible, staggering and stunning them while still dealing lots of damage, particularly through critical hits. Flensing Protocols and several other talents mean you'll have a high critical hit chance most of the time which will make your Arc Maul and Arc Rifle deal hefty damage while also zapping enemies. Thanks to Flux Conduit Build-Up and Electro-Strike Conduit, crits will also help you charge up Voltaic Emitter quickly and electrocute even more enemies, especially in melee.
