Following this morning’s announcement that EA’s reboot of the 1993 PC classic Syndicate will launch in February, 2012, comes the first trailer and set of screenshots for the game. Check them out for a closer look at how corporations will do business in the first-person.

Set in the year 2069, Syndicate takes place in a world ruled by corporations warring over control of the market. The weapon of choice for these mega companies will be you. As prototype agent Miles Kilo, you’ll be doing the dirty work for the Eurocorp corporation. If you’re wondering how the first-person reboot will differ from the original isometric real-time game, this description of Kilo’s skills from EA will offer some insight: “Through DART 6 bio-chip technology implanted in their heads, gamers can dilate down time, see through walls, breach the digital world and enemies around them using a variety of ugradable hacking mechanics.”

Sounds like Miles Kilo may have some stories to share with Deus Ex: Human Revolution’s Adam Jensen after the Syndicate reboot launches early next year. Fans willing to go all-in and preorder Syndicate will get extras from The Executive Package, which grant perks in the 4-player co-op campaign along with special gold guns and logos for bragging rights. Syndicate will release on February 21, 2012 in North America and on February 24 in Europe – and will be available for the 360, PS3, and PC. Check GamesRadar later today for our preview and first impressions on the first-person reboot.
