Live & Love

The Live & Love magazine perks relate to your various companions and interactions with residents of the Wasteland.

Issue #01 Fabulous 1st Issue: Life Long Best Friends! - Faneuil Hall

The fabulous first issue will grant a permanent +10 health to your companion.

Faneuil Hall is in the east Boston area.

Beware of booby traps as you head to the top floor.

In the small room at the top of the stairs is a sofa to the right.

The magazine is on the table next to it.

Head down into the station.

As you enter the main area, go straight over to the blue door by the counter.

Pick the lock to get to the area behind the counter.

You'll find the magazine on top of the safe back here.

Issue #03 Trim the Fat - WRVR Broadcast Station

Companions will gain +10 carry weight after picking this up.

Head south to find the WRVR Broadcast Station.

This is a friendly zone, so go on inside.

Go through into the main room.

There's a table to the right.

Issue #03 is on top.

Issue #04 The Secretary Charmer - Fiddler's Green Trailer Estates

After nabbing this issue, you'll get a +25% XP bonus from persuading women. Except for the one on the right. She looks pissed.

Fiddler's Green Trailer Estates is to the south of Sanctuary.

Find the trailer on the east side of the swimming pool.

The magazine is on a table inside.

Issue #05 Talk Yourself Sober - Revere Beach Station

Now you have a great excuse to start chugging on booze, gaining +1 Luck from alcohol when travelling with a companion.

Revere Beach Station is to the northeast and is a good spot for finding book tokens on the bodies of any Raiders that you kill. You'll need 50 for another magazine later on, so don't spend them all here.

Head inside the main building.

Scoot on up to the top floor.

There's a campfire up here. The magazine is sitting on one of the cinder blocks.

Issue #06 Advice From Married Men - Goodneighbor

Companions gain +5 Damage and Energy Resistance with this issue.

You'll find this in Goodneighbor, along with issue #08.

Get yourself down to The Third Rail.

Head around to the right as you enter to find the toilets.

The magazine is on top of a loo.

Issue #07 Beware the Man Handler - Bunker Hill

Gain a +25% XP boost from persuading men with issue #07.

Head to Bunker Hill.

Pop around to the back of the monument to find the entrance and follow the stairs to the top.

The magazine is on a table up here.

Issue #08 An Experience to Remember - Goodneighbor

This issue will grant a +5% XP bonus when adventuring with a companion.

This is the second issue of Live & Love to be found in Goodneighbor.

Pay the Hotel Rexford a visit.

Take a peek behind the counter on the right as you enter to find the magazine.

Issue #09 I Married a Robot! - Diamond City

The last issue will allow Robot companions to permanently inflict +5% damage.

Make your way to the Jewel of the Commonwealth.

Head down the path to the left to find the Schoolhouse on the western side of the city.

When you enter, go around to the back of the staircase.

The magazine is on a cinder block here.

Massachusetts Surgical Journal

The Massachusetts Surgical perk grants +2% limb damage, stacking with each issue you pick up.

Issue #01 Let's Play Doctor - Parsons State Insane Asylum

The first issue is in the Parson's State Insane Asylum where you'll also find the Fallout 4 Charisma bobblehead. There are a number of quests you need to complete to gain access to this area. They're covered in the bobblehead guide.

Once you've done what you need to do to get in, head to the asylum.

Enter Lorenzo's cell.

The journal is on a table in here.

Issue #02 ER Nurses Confess All - Medford Memorial Hospital

I'm pretty sure her first confession will be not wearing work appropriate footwear.

The hospital is to the east of Sanctuary.

Head up the first flight of stairs.

Make your way around to the doorway next to the clock and head inside.

The journal is next to the broken terminal by the window.

Issue #03 Raised by Robots - Med-Tek Research

You can only access the area this journal is in by picking up MacCready's quest Long Road Ahead, so roam the wasteland with him for a bit and he'll confide in you soon enough.

Once the two of you are bosom buddies, head over to Med-Tek Research.

Simply follow the quest marker to the room containing the Prevent. The journal is on a table to the right.

Issue #04 Cryo Technology: Haven or Tomb! - Greater Mass Blood Clinic

This is an issue you can definitely relate to.

The Greater Mass Blood Clinic is to the south of Fort Hagen.

Head to the top floor and hack the terminal to open the door to the lab.

The journal is on the desk in here.

Issue #05 Happy Sedation Special - Sandy Coves Convalescent Home

This one's quick and easy to grab.

The home is in the northeast corner of the map.

Pop behind the front desk and use the terminal to open the metal door.

The journal is on one of the shelves behind the door.

Issue #06 Scars Are Cool - Cambridge Polymer Labs

You can find the Piezonucleic armour here as well as this journal.

Go through the doorway at the back of the reception area on the right and up the stairs to the Director's Office.

If Molly isn't with you, you'll need to pick the lock or kill Molly to get the key.

The journal is on the desk inside.

Issue #07 Pay Now, Get Better Later!! - Greenetech Genetics

This is why I'm glad I live in a country with free healthcare.

Greenetech Genetics is to the north of the main river.

Make your way up to the first floor and into the corridor across the hall.

Simply follow the corridor to the stairs that lead up to the floor above and enter the second doorway on the right, next to the gents.

There are some red leather sofas on the left.

The journal is on the round table between them.

Issue #08 Finding Your Funny Bone - Boston Public Library

You'll need 50 tokens to use at the overdue book vending machine. Farming over at Revere Beach Station is a quick way to get them as the Raiders there always carry a few. Alternatively, look for overdue books. Each one is worth five tokens.

With your tokens in hand, go and visit the library.

Follow the corridor to the left and you'll pop out in a large room with an overdue book vending machine.

You can get the journal from this machine with 50 book tokens.

Issue #09 Better Living Through Chems - Cabot House

The area of the house where the magazine is stashed is only accessible if you've completed the quest over at Parsons State Insane Asylum.

Revisit Cabot House.

You can now access the top floor where the bedrooms are. Enter the first bedroom on the right.

The journal is on the desk in here.
