New Mandalorian and Grogu clip goes full toybox as the duo dodge multiple AT-ATs during madcap downhill slalom
The Mandalorian and Grogu hits theaters this month
A new clip from The Mandalorian and Grogu has hit the internet in celebration of May the 4th aka Star Wars Day.
The clip, which initially premiered as part of a special segment on Good Morning America, sees Din and Grogu board an AT-RT and ride it downhill in order to ski past a horde of AT-ATs that are shooting with intent to kill. An unnamed villain (referred to as an 'unnamed crime boss' in various write-ups of the film's first 15 minutes), is in charge of the AT-ATs... though we don't know why he intends to kill Din and Grogu. Regardless, the AT-ATs continue to miss, and the clip ends before our favorite duo makes it to safety... You can watch below.
The upcoming film, directed by Jon Favreau, marks the first theatrical Star Wars release in seven years and sees Pedro Pascal suit up once again as Din Djarin with the impossibly adorable Grogu (voiced by Lucasfilm sound editor David Acord) at his side. The cast includes Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt, Sigourney Weaver as Colonel Ward, Matthew Willig as Hogsbreth, and Martin Scorsese as an Ardennian shopkeeper named Hugo. As a fourth season of The Mandalorian has yet to be announced, the feature-length film might very well be taking its place.
