Peacemaker star Jennifer Holland says Superman sequel Man of Tomorrow might be James Gunn's "best movie" yet: "It's a step up in a lot of ways"
Exclusive: Jennifer Holland has high praise for Man of Tomorrow
Peacemaker star Jennifer Holland has set the bar pretty high for Superman sequel Man of Tomorrow.
"I can tell you that I have seen an enormous, enormous portion of the movie, and I am so excited for Man of Tomorrow," Holland tells GamesRadar+ at a screening of Supergirl. "It is different...I don't wanna say this. Ugh. It might be James's best… my favorite movie of James, and I haven't even seen the whole thing yet. I'm just... I love the movie. I'm really excited about it. It feels like a step up to me in a lot of ways. I'm excited for people to see it, and he's not done filming it yet."
Holland also added that Guardians of the Galaxy 3 might be her favorite Gunn movie... and with the implication that Man of Tomorrow might be even better than Guardians 3, I will absolutely be seated. No word yet if the actor will make an appearance as Emilia Harcourt in the Superman sequel, though that seems to be the rumor, given that we don't know if a third season of Peacemaker will happen.
Man of Tomorrow, written and directed by James Gunn, sees David Corenswet's Superman and Nicholas Hoult's Lex Luthor team up to take down supervillain Braniac, played by Babylon Berlin star Lars Eidinger. Supergirl is also set to make an appearance.
Man of Tomorrow hits theaters on July 9, 2027. Supergirl is in theaters now. For more, check out our guide to all the upcoming DC movies and shows for everything else the DCU has in store, or our guide to watching the DC movies in order for a marathon.
