Reacher star Alan Ritchson says season 4 of the fan favorite series about a man who is large overcoming a new man who is larger in each adventure has finished filming. And what's more, he's confirmed that it's coming to Prime Video in 2026.
"Well, we finished shooting Season 4 of Reacher. It's by far the best season we've had yet, so it's coming. It'll be out this year," Ritchson tells Collider, stopping short of offering a more specific timeframe.
Ritchson has become a star on the back of Reacher thanks to his sincerely imposing physical status and offbeat charisma as the eponymous military police officer turned wandering crimefighter. The role is intensely physically demanding, especially the season 3 finale in which he fights the absolutely hulking villain Paulie, played by Olivier Richters.
"The whole season was this build up towards this fight with the giant Olivier Richters...he's 7'2, 400 pounds," Ritchson previously told GamesRadar+. "And we spent three weeks filming this entire episode where we just fought continuously."
The actor has been rumored - or at least fan-cast - as numerous superheroes, most notably Bruce Wayne/Batman, though Ritchson has tried to put the idea to bed. However, the actor has also mentioned he may be in the running for a different DC role. In fact, he already played one DC superhero in the pre-DC Studios show Titans, in which he portrayed the notoriously violent Hawk, one half of the duo Hawk and Dove.
