Details emerge on Batmans Suicide Squad appearance

Last week a trio of scoops concerning David Ayer’s Suicide Squad alerted us to the film’s main antagonists, the involvement of Deathstroke and the inspiration behind Jared Leto’s Joker.

Today the movie tipsters at Latino Review have dropped another glut of details on the caped crusader’s supposed appearance in the movie.

According to the site’s sources, Batman is viewed in the film as ‘some sort of big boogeyman’ that the government aren’t too pleased with. Sounds like quite a shift for Gotham’s dark knight.

In addition, it’s teased that before the events of Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, The Joker is the only person to have had direct contact with Batman; hence his importance to Squad leader Amanda Waller.

The report further signifies where exactly we might catch sight of the do-gooder - via a reel of footage showcasing Batman in action. The Squad will apparently assemble to watch the snippet which segues into a line of dialogue suggesting Batman is “the key to tracking down all the ‘Supers’”.

Whether or not Ayer will enlist Ben Affleck to shoot what sounds like a cameo is as-yet unknown.

Co-starring Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne and Viola Davis, Suicide Squad opens in the UK and US on August 5, 2016.
