Rat King
Joining
Defeating the Royal Rat Vanguard earns you a Rat Tail. In the very next room is a rat perched atop some skulls. Speak to him a few times, and when he notices your Rat Tail, he'll offer to let you into the covenant.
Ranking Up
Similar to the Bell Keepers, those in the Rat King covenant are sworn to protect certain regions of Drangleic. In this case, those regions are the Grave of Saints and Doors of Pharros. You may either be called in to defeat invaders, or invade yourself and kill the current host. In addition, both of these areas are full of Pharros' Contraptions that activate traps for those opposing you. Each victory earns you a Rat Tail.
- Rank 1: Collect and offer 10 Rat Tails.
- Reward: Smooth and Silky Stone (x10)
- Rank 2: Collect and offer 20 Rat Tails.
- Reward: Smooth and Silky Stone (x10)
- Rank 3: Collect and offer 30 Rat Tails.
