Fallout: New Vegas has enjoyed a steady stream of downloadable content since its launch, with players being pulled all over the wasteland to fight against the Brotherhood of Steel, tribal raiders, and other mutated creatures that roam in Bethesda’s open-world post-apocalyptic RPG. But while some have been related to the game’s story, none have flown as closely as the upcoming Lonesome Road DLC, which latches on to some of the unexplained plot points from the original game.
In a new trailer we’re introduced to Ulysses, or – as Fallout players might know him – the original Courier Six, who turned down the job to deliver the Platinum Chip that landed the player in the middle of a conspiracy to take over New Vegas. Take a look!
Well, our interest is piqued. We’re looking forward to finding out what made Ulysses turn down the job on September 20 – let’s hope that, this time, it launches without a hitch. The last few DLC packs haven’t had the cleanest launches, and if we’re spending 800 Microsoft Points (or $9.99 in real money) we don’t want any game breaking glitches this time around.
