Lightning Thief
Alexandra Daddario has is to star in Fox 2000's Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, joining Logan Lerman and Brandon T Jackson in the fantasy-adventure movie being directed by Chris (Harry Potter 1 & 2) Columbus. The film will have Greek Gods at war in modern-day America, according to The Hollywood Reporter . Daddario will play Athena's 18-year-old daughter, Annabeth, a warrior at Camp Half-Blood with Percy and potential romantic foil.

Jericho Movie?
The show that refuses to due, Jericho (or Little Fall Out Shelter On The Prairie as we like to call it), could be back as a movie. Dan Shotz, co-executive producer of CBS's cancelled post-apocalyptic drama, tells SCI FI Wire (will that be SyFy Wire soon>) that he and his fellow writer/producers are indeed serious about developing a feature film based on the cult show.

Downloadable Caprica
According to ICV2.com the pilot for the Battlestar Galactica prequel Caprica will be released on April 21st on as a digital download as well as on DVD. Presumably this won’t be available outside the States, but you never know.

And Finally…
Here comes the amusing story to finish off with: Christian website ChristWire.org claims Marvel is promoting homosexuality with an inflatable Wolverine toy with a nozzle in an unfortunate position.
