In regards to Dark Souls: "I... disagree."
  • Thequestion 121 - October 13, 2011 1:26 p.m.

Pretty much the greatest intro I have ever heard on Talkradar! Pure Pwnage was teh greatest!!!
  • SillyPigeon - October 13, 2011 5:57 a.m.

Good job Mikel! And Coop, even though you are younger than me which makes me feel old, you're proving to be a great addition to the Tdar crew!

Finally, a podcast that didnt pander to most listners 'status quo' opinion. Well directed, interesting and not full of pointless sound effects inserted purely to serve egos. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would love Mikel to host more going forward. Fantastic cast Mikel and the lads!

I listened to this twice and I can definitely say i prefer Chris, Mikel, Charlie, and Henry (or any combination thereof). Hollander and Matt seem like nice people but i guess i just don't care what they have to say yet? Haven't had enough time to build an attachment to them possibly? It was definitely still enjoyable but i would have preferred it with Chris/Charlie/Henry in addition to Mikel, Hollander, and Matt.

  • SpadesSlick - October 9, 2011 10:37 p.m.

No sound effects, this was basically talk radar- unplugged. And strangely I liked that.
  • SoulsbeMine - October 9, 2011 12:24 p.m.

Sniff... sniff... you guys smell that?? .....pussy I smell pussy... talking down on Dark Souls this game is unbelievable and you have the nerve to knock on it when obviously you have never played it. Why even talk crap about it, when all you play is nintendo wii and kinect, pussy. Having a hard time with dark souls... then go buy the guide. Or try starting off at the Undead Burg, pussies. Oh waaaaaa Dark Souls is sooo hard waaaaaa. PUSSIES! Go play Kinect sports.

  • wadesmit - October 8, 2011 11:43 a.m.

Good TR :) The host line-up was actually pretty awesome, you guys are a lot more chilled together than some of the other line-ups.
  • codystovall - October 8, 2011 11:15 a.m.

A Mike Reparez run podcast is a very focused, on-topic one. -and theres nothing wrong with that.
  • EnragedTortoise1 - October 8, 2011 7:24 a.m.

What is this I don't even

All Hail the glorious return of Henry "Regular Host" Gilbert from special assignment in the Land of the Rising Sun. Welcome back bro. A few comments from the peanut gallery and I'm out! I'm a little disappointed in your interview with Itagaki-san. It smacked of "GOTCHA" journalism and I don't blame him for cutting you short. As much as you think you know about Nippon, they know more. I suggest reading the "Nihonghi" or "Kojiki". Round eye historians are good in the broad strokes but nothing says more of a culture than its mythology. Video game references of mythology don't count. Good question to Itagaki-san nonetheless.
