The Blu-ray/DVD for Star Wars: The Force Awakens will include some substantial bonuses if you pick it up at Target. The big reveal for the retailer's take-home version of Episode 7 starts off with exclusive packaging, featuring a six-way split of those stylish character posters, plus BB-8.
Inside the "collectible" packaging, you'll find Blu-ray/DVD/digital copies of the movie with 20 minutes of special features only available at Target. The bonus videos include a new interview with co-stars Daisy Ridley (Rey) and John Boyega (Finn), and a "deeper look at the movie's weaponry". That's presumably on top of the bonuses included in the standard edition.
Sounds like Target will have the definitive edition of the film then, at least until the inevitable three-pack with Episode 8 and Episode 9. According to Target, The Force Awakens combo packs will start shipping out on April 5, which likely applies to all retailers - even the ones that don't get all those extra goodies.
Meanwhile, the Duracell Bunny has seemingly leaked an April 18 date for The Force Awakens' home release in the UK.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and was formerly a staff writer at GamesRadar+.
