The slate of upcoming superhero movies is looking pretty stacked. Whether you're a Marvel fan, a DC stan, or your bag is more unusual takes on superheroes, there's something for everyone over the coming months (and even beyond that too). Below, we get into the details of all of the big releases to add to your calendars, whatever you're after.

While a lot is still unknown, we do know a fair amount about what's coming next in Marvel Phase 5, Marvel Phase 6, and James Gunn's DCU Chapter One: Gods and Monsters. In this upcoming year alone, we'll head into Spidey's growing universe with Kraven the Hunter, see what Eddie Brock has been up to in Venom 3, and we'll be reuniting with Arthur Fleck in Joker sequel too. Then in the MCU, we'll finally get to see Deadpool 3, which is now officially titled Deadpool and Wolverine.

In our guide to new superhero movies, we aim to take you through the next few years of DC and Marvel roadmaps. But, fair warning: some may still be canceled or will move, so watch this space and keep this page bookmarked for all the latest movers and shakers. If you just want a movie marathon, though, check out our guides on how to watch the Marvel movies in order and how to DC movies in order

Various new superhero movies have been announced and are in various stages of pre-development. It's no guarantee that any of these, bar a few MCU offerings, make it to the big screen, but they're worth keeping an eye on all the same. Any previous DC project, such as Gotham City Sirens and Green Lantern Corps, are now dead under the new DC Studios regime. Co-CEO James Gunn announced the slate for DCU's Chapter One: Gods and Monsters in January 2023. Meanwhile, Beyond the Spider-Verse has also been indefinitely delayed and removed from the schedules.

I'm the Senior Entertainment Writer here at GamesRadar+, focusing on news, features, and interviews with some of the biggest names in film and TV. On-site, you'll find me marveling at Marvel and providing analysis and room temperature takes on the newest films, Star Wars and, of course, anime. Outside of GR, I love getting lost in a good 100-hour JRPG, Warzone, and kicking back on the (virtual) field with Football Manager. My work has also been featured in OPM, FourFourTwo, and Game Revolution.
