If we can be real for a second, Lando's disguise at the beginning of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi is terrible. It's become something of a meme for how obvious Calrissian is wearing it when the crew infiltrates Jabba's Palace, and having been hands-on with a replica version that you can pre-order soon, I can confirm that it won't do much to hide your identity from pesky Hutts. It will look great on your shelf, though.
During a visit to Disney's London HQ, where I was able to preview all manner of cool merchandise, collectibles, and apparel hitting shelves in 2026, I got a chance to try on Lando's Return of the Jedi disguise (or, to use its full legal name, "Lando Calrissian Skiff Guard Helmet"). This Star Wars replica is a wearable version of the headwear that Lando used in the attempt to rescue Han Solo, and it's a really close match to the on-screen version - though seeing as Disney has a history of producing some of the best toys based on a galaxy far, far away, that isn't surprising.
This helmet will be up for grabs on the Disney Store (and Disney Store UK) from May 4, AKA Star Wars Day. It'll cost $99.99/£100, and by the looks of it, you won't be able to find it anywhere else. Mark your calendars if you want a copy, in other words!
Like so many other replica helmets or props by Disney (such as the Jedi Temple Guard Lightsaber), this one goes all in on high detail and weathering. While the metallic effect isn't as convincing as other replicas I've seen, everything else works surprisingly well. The bone chin strap gave me the ick because it looks convincingly dirty, while the distressed leather cap really does fool the eye from a distance. It's a similar story with the beaten copper studs 'holding' the top together. All that means it'll look great paired with a costume for Halloween, on a cosplay you use for ComicCon, or just on display on a shelf with the included stand.
Article continues belowSure, it's not the best replica I've seen from Disney - as mentioned above, the weathering on the metal isn't quite as convincing as it could be. But when taken as a whole, it's impressive.
Here's Disney's official description for the Star Wars replica.
"Inspired by Lando’s covert mission aboard Jabba’s sail barge above the Great Pit of Carkoon, this detailed helmet captures the rugged skiff guard disguise worn during a pivotal moment in the Rebellion’s fight against the Empire.
Featuring an authentic, weathered design reflective of Tatooine’s outer reaches, the collectible comes complete with a display stand - and is also wearable, making it ideal for cosplay and fan events."

If you want one for your own collection, you'll be able to pre-order it from May 4, 2026.

I've been writing about games in one form or another since 2012, but these days you'll find me managing GamesRadar+'s tabletop gaming and toy coverage (I spend my time here handling everything from board game reviews to the latest Lego news). I've also been obsessed with Warhammer since the 1990s, and love nothing more than running tabletop RPGs like D&D as a Dungeon Master.
