Where to buy Kill Team Shadowhunt before it sells out
These stores are your best bet
It's that time again, so anyone looking for where to buy Kill Team: Shadowhunt will want to prepare how quickly they can hit checkout. If previous sets are anything to go by, the latest box will sell out faster than a Battle Sister can shriek "heresy."
To give you a head-start, I'm rounding up where to buy Kill Team: Shadowhunt when it goes up for pre-order on January 24, 2026. I've been covering launches for the wargame (not to mention trading card games and the best board games) for some time now, and although it can be fiendishly difficult, it is possible to secure sets like this if you know where to look. The retailers I've listed below tend to be the surest bets, so it's a case of watching them very closely when the time comes.
Just bear in mind that you'll want to refresh these store listings from around 5am ET / 10am GMT, as that's when they officially go live on the Warhammer store. Kill Team: Shadowhunt might not appear at third-party retailers from the off, but rest assured, it will eventually turn up. It's a case of being patient, and ready.
Where to buy Kill Team: Shadowhunt in the US
You can always try your luck at Games Workshop itself once Shadowhunt is available, but I'm expecting it to sell out fast in the US. That's why I'd recommend taking a look at indie retailers like Miniature Market instead. They typically provide stock at a discount, so it's better value for money overall.
Miniature Market
Personally speaking, this reliable indie store is the first place I'd go to check for stock. It usually offers new box-sets of Kill Team at a discount, allowing you to get in on the action for a lot less than MSRP. Just be aware that a listing might not appear right away, and units will be snapped up alarmingly fast.

The Rogue Traders
Much like Miniature Market, this indie retailer is a reliable source of Kill Team box sets at a discount. That will include Shadowhunt, so the quickest trigger-finger wins.

Amazon
I can guarantee that Kill Team: Shadowhunt won't appear here right away, but it should turn up a short while after pre-orders go live. Warhammer typically retails for less than full price here depending on demand, but the downside is having to wait for a listing to show up.

eBay
While I'm loathe to suggest it, and would only recommend going here if you're out of options, eBay is going to have copies of Shadowhunt from the get-go. That's because cheeky resellers have bought up as many as they can to flog at a markup. Not all sellers are like this, of course, but it's rare to find a copy for around MSRP.

Warhammer
It goes without saying that you'll be able to pre-order Kill Team: Shadowhunt from the official source, but I wouldn't fancy our chances of getting one. Everyone's going to be swarming the store the moment listings go live, so you'll have to be quick or very lucky.

Where to buy Kill Team: Shadowhunt in the UK
Even though you could head straight to Games Workshop and pick up Shadowhunt direct from the source if you're quick, I'd always recommend prioritizing the likes of Wayland Games in the UK. These indie retailers typically sell new Warhammer products at a discount, so it's a way to save money on the side. New kits and money in the bank to spend on more Warhammer? Yes please.
Wayland Games
Check stock at Wayland Games
My go-to option in the UK is always Wayland Games, because it consistently gets in stock at lower-than-normal prices. The same will be true of Kill Team: Shadowhunt, but unfortunately for us, everyone knows it. That means you're gonna have to be quick to secure a copy.
Magic Madhouse

I've found this indie retailer to be pretty good when it comes to Kill Team pre-orders, and that makes it one to watch where Shadowhunt is concerned.
Zatu Games
Check stock at Zatu Games
The question here isn't whether Zatu will get stock of Kill Team, it's "how long will it last." Units tend to sell out here quickly, and that's probably something to do with the retailer's traditional discount on Warhammer products.
Amazon
Check stock at Amazon
I wouldn't expect Amazon to have stock right away, but it will get units eventually. That makes it a great backup option in case Kill Team: Shadowhunt sells out everywhere else.
eBay
Check stock at eBay
While I don't like suggesting it as an option, I wouldn't be doing due diligence if I ignored eBay. That's because you can get hard-to-find stock here... it's just that it's been given an absurd markup by cheeky resellers.

Naturally, Kill Team: Shadowhunt is going to go on sale here when the time comes. It might just sell out quickly, though, so I wouldn't assume you'll get it from here. It's worth a try on the off-chance, though.
