Despite Conkeldurr's new Brute Force ability, Guts is overall still your best bet (especially in competitive battles), because it boosts his already high attack stat by 50% whenever he has a status ailment. His Dream World ability, Iron Fist, is also worth taking a look at too, because it increases the power of punching moves by 20% at all times, andConkeldurr definitely has some excellent punching options. Mach Punch is a strong option, which can be taught via breeding from Infernape or Hitmonchan, and Drain Punch is another good egg move option thatConkeldurr can learn from Mienfoo/Mienshao via breeding. Focus Punch is a risky choice, but with a staggering base power of 150 it can pay off with a one-hit KO if it hits.
