Make sure you don't waste your time teaching Stoutland any Special Attack moves, since his SAtk stat is dismal. You won't be tempted to though, since he has such a huge movepool of Physical STAB moves at his disposal. You can't go wrong with any of his three abilities, and his Sand Rush ability is particularly useful on Route 4.
