MINDCANDY

A weekly rummage in the attic of sci-fi

It's a health and safety nightmare for dear old Captain Scarlet. One of 10 paintings that graced the end credits of Gerry Anderson's classic show, this gorgeously rendered portrait of puppetational peril is the work of Ron Embleton, the fabulous British comic book artist whose work adorned everything from Look And Learn to Penthouse (a whole other kind of look and learn...).

EXTRA: You asked for them, so here's a link to the other nine paintings in the set, courtesy of the splendid 7 Wonders website: http://www.seven-wonders.co.uk/scarlet.html
