When the final trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens debuted late last month (sending the internet into a frenzy from which it's only just recovering), we were told by director J.J. Abrams that it would be the last bit of footage we'd see before the release of the much-anticipated blockbuster. Well, Abrams was very, very wrong...

A new international Star Wars trailer has just exploded onto the web featuring a ton of amazing new footage to tide us over till December. If you've reached the point where you don't want to see any more before you watch the film then look away now.

There's so many awesome snippets to watch, rewatch, digest, and rewatch again, we can't quite believe it. There's more BB-8, quick glimpses of C-3P0, Kylo Ren threatening Daisy Ridley's Rey with his lightsaber... but still no Luke. You have to applaud the marketing department for managing to keep specific plot details secret. Thankfully, we're less than two months away from finally getting answers. Directed by J.J. Abrams and starring Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley and Oscar Isaac, Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in the UK on December 17 2015 and in the US the following day.
