A prominent Nintendo leaker has dropped a boatload of Nintendo Switch 2 games news, including claims of a Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake and a new Star Fox… just don't expect 3D Mario this year.
Leaker NateTheHate has been a big name in the Nintendo community for some time, but being the one to accurately break the random afternoon that Nintendo would be revealing the Switch 2 on – as well as subsequent Nintendo Direct reveals – has made him a somewhat trustworthy source. And, off the back of Nintendo surprisingly announcing Star Fox lead Fox McCloud for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie and the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda this year, the leaker has dropped some bombshells.
On the Nate the Hate Podcast, the leaker dropped a ton of claims about upcoming titles. Sadly, this news included word that a new 3D Mario game is apparently not planned for 2026, and will instead aim to arrive in 2027, plus word that we're probably waiting until June for a proper Nintendo Direct to arrive.
However, that doesn't mean that there won't be Nintendo news between now and then, as he also claims that Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, Splatoon Raiders, Rhythm Heaven Groove, and a new Switch Sports release (he is unsure if its a new game or a re-release) are all set to arrive in the summer. A not "set in stone" Pikmin 4 Switch 2 Edition is apparently possibly coming in summer too.
Joining them in the summer, apparently, is a brand new Star Fox game, which does make some sense given Fox's return in the new Mario movie is very out of the blue. Nate says the game is a "classic style" Star Fox game that's set to feature online multiplayer. He also alleges that the game will be announced within April 2026 (presumably after The Super Mario Galaxy Movie comes out).
As for later in 2026, Nate claims that a Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake is set to be Nintendo's big game for holiday 2026, which he describes as a full-blown remake instead of a remaster of the 3DS or N64 version.
VGC has corroborated Nate's claims about Star Fox, 3D Mario, and Ocarina of Time Remake, saying it lines up with information it's heard from its own sources. Of course, with any leaks, it's best to take things with a grain of salt, especially when they're giving out as much info as Nate has in this podcast episode.

With that said, one claim that has a bit of evidence is that "Capcom is going to be porting Devil May Cry 5 to Switch 2," as a rating for a "Devil May Cry 5 Devil Hunter Edition" appeared on a Taiwanese ratings board earlier today.
