Use these answers for the Heroes Olden Era Stargazer riddle, as you only get one chance to get it right
During the campaign, you'll come across the Heroes of Might and Magic Stargazer NPC, who has a tough, four-stage riddle for you to solve. Get it wrong and he'll disappear forever, taking your rewards with him. Well, you can always go back to a previous autosave.
However, if you'd rather just get it right first time and move on with your adventure, I've done the hard work for you and figured out the answers to each of the Olden Era Stargazer's four questions. So, here they are.
All Olden Era Stargazer riddle solutions
The Stargazer will ask for the constellations relating to four spells. The answer for most of them lies in the icon for said spell in your spell book, but once you engage in conversation with the wacky physicist you can't back out to check. Others are quite obvious but, unless you get all four right, you won't get your reward. To ensure you do, enter these four answers to the Olden Era Stargazer riddle:
- Haste = Dove
- Taunt = Knight
- Impending Fate = Dragon
- Hksmilla = Hksmilla
By entering the above answers to the Stargazer's questions, you'll be given the Summon Starchild spell for Lafiur, which summons a stack of Starchildren units at an adjacent hex to another stack at a quantity of 1 + (1 x hero's Spellpower). For example, if Lafiur's spellpower is 2, you'll get a stack of three Starchildren. Be careful using them, though, as these powerful creatures deal damage to nearby hexes and creatures, even turning on your own army if they get too close.

After studying Music and Lifestyle journalism and writing a column for a stylish lifestyle magazine in her hometown of Brighton, Danielle finally found her feet writing about videogames for WePC in 2021. She then honed her guides writing skills at PCGamesN between 2022 and 2026, when she took those skills to GamesRadar as a Guides Writer. Danielle's guides are a safe space - she definitely got stuck before you did, which is why she's perfect for the job. When she's not replaying the Silent Hill games or a more up-to-date single-player horror game, you'll find her fighting for her life in Dead by Daylight, tending to a garden in Stardew Valley, or doing both in Minecraft.
