Fallout fans have uncovered an in-progress build of Fallout: New Vegas, with the original Mr. House design intact and a saucy romance to go along with it.
Fallout: New Vegas is best known for two main things, one being that it's the best Fallout game, and the other being its extremely short development cycle. As a result of that rushed development, the game had some cut content in order to get it over the line in time, and running on consoles. One such piece of cut content was an alternate Mr. House design, and some romantic interest in the screen man.
The development kits feature a number of builds, with the July 2010 build being the most complete one (with the finalized build that was released to the public being dated August 2010). The duo also found a build from late 2009, around a year before the game would actually release.
The July build features the original Mr. House design – that looked a bit too close to Walt Disney for comfort – which was shown off in some behind-the-scenes footage previously. And because the duo released the prototypes to the public in an effort to uncover even more, fans have uncovered that Mr. House (who again, is a face on a TV screen for the majority of his screentime) has romance voice lines, which get surprisingly graphic as he instructs you to "throw back your shoulders," "thrust them forward," and "elongate your neck just a bit please."
Presumably, getting the affections of Mr. House would eventually grant you access to the chamber where the real deal is being held. Allowing you easy access to take him out or uh… y'know.
