Maul – Shadow Lord release schedule: when are episodes 9 and 10 on Disney Plus?
Unlike all previous episodes this season, Maul – Shadow Lord episodes 9 and 10 release at 12am local time on May 4, 2026, aka Star Wars day.
That means there will be a staggered release globally as the clock strikes midnight around the world, with the likes of New Zealand and Australia among the first countries in the world where the Maul – Shadow Lord season finale will be available to watch.
As in previous weeks, however, there will still be two new episodes available to watch, with both episodes 9 and 10 dropping on May 4.
Maul – Shadow Lord release schedule: when are new episodes out?
Two new episodes of Maul – Shadow Lord will arrive on Disney Plus every Monday until early May, with the finale arriving on Star Wars Day itself. There are 10 episodes in total of the Star Wars animated show to enjoy.

Maul – Shadow Lord is a Disney Plus exclusive, meaning it is only available on that streaming platform. The show joins all of the streamer's other Star Wars content, including all of the original movies, the extended universe of TV shows, and all of the other animated content.
Will there be a Maul – Shadow Lord season 2?
Yes, there will be a second season of Maul – Shadow Lord. The official Star Wars site confirmed the news just ahead of the season 1 premiere on April 2. Exactly when we'll get season 2, however, remains to be seen.
