You’ll need to part with some of your Candy to get one of these mystery bags and they’ll give you a items and resources, including Legendary gear, Legendary Shards, and materials. These are only available from Eva during Festival of the Lost which runs until November 2, so make sure you stock up on some sweets if you want to try your luck with these Destiny 2 Epic Mystery Grab Bags. Here’s how to get them and what you can expect to find inside them.
Destiny 2 Haunted Sector | Destiny 2 Spectral Pages | Destiny 2 Jurassic Green | Destiny 2 Tracing the Stars 1 | Destiny 2 Tracing the Stars 2 | Destiny 2 Tracing the Stars 3 | Destiny 2 Enigmatic Mysteries Shattered Realm | Destiny 2 Ager’s Scepter
What you can get from Destiny 2 Epic Mystery Grab Bags
Epic Mystery Grab Bags and the regular Mystery Grab Bags are small packs of random rewards that you can buy with Candy during Festival of the Lost. To buy them, you need to visit Eva Levante in the Tower Courtyard. She’s selling the superior Epic Mystery Grab Bags for 1,300 Candy and the lesser mystery bags for 650 Candy. Make sure you consider how you’re spending your Candy stash first. When you buy a mystery bag, you’ll instantly get some combination of the rewards listed below.
Epic Mystery Grab Bag possible loot:
- Legendary armor and weapons
- Legendary Shards
- Destination Materials
Mystery Grab Bag possible loot:
- Rare armor and weapons
- Glimmer
- Legendary armor and weapons (low chance)
So, unfortunately, the rewards aren’t anything incredible. We suggest holding off on the grab bags until you’ve spent your Candy on all the new masks and other Festival of the Lost 2021 rewards in Destiny 2. Once you’ve spent all you need to on the event items, you can sink the rest of your Candy supply into grab bags to see what you can get. There’s no limit on how many you can buy, so long as you have the Candy for Eva. Make sure you buy plenty of bounties from Eva and always have your mask equipped to maximize your Candy gains. If you’re running low on Legendary Shards and Destination Materials, then the Epic Mystery Grab Bags might be quite a good way of resupplying.
