When is the GTA Online Kortz Center Heist available?
The Kortz Center Heist in GTA Online launches this July, and here's how to prepare for it with the Fine Art Collector Program
The GTA Online Kortz Center Heist has just been announced, as the centerpiece to the annual summer update in Rockstar's connected world. This is the first official heist added since The Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid released over two years ago, and it will almost certainly form part of the final update to the current iteration of GTA Online before GTA 6 launches this November. Several initiatives are available now to help you prepare for this art theft, so here's what we know so far about the Kortz Center Heist in GTA Online.
When does the GTA Online Kortz Center Heist start?
At the moment, we know that The Kortz Center Heist is coming to GTA Online in July as part of the main summer update, though we don't have a more specific date right now. It's also hard to predict exactly when it will release based on previous years, as the past five summer updates have launched on the following dates:
- Tuesday, June 17, 2025
- Tuesday, June 25, 2024
- Tuesday, June 13, 2023
- Tuesday, July 26, 2022
- Tuesday, July 20, 2021
As you can see, other than being on a Tuesday that's a fairly inconsistent spread of dates, though the recently announced Fine Art Collector Program (more on that later) is offering rewards from now through July 13, which suggests a launch date of Tuesday, July 14, 2026 is most likely – as soon as I have confirmation of the actual release date, I'll add it here.
What do we know about the GTA Online Kortz Center Heist?
The main thing we know so far about The Kortz Center Heist in GTA Online is that in order to plan and initiate this multi-stage robbery as a leader, you must own one of the GTA Online Mansions so you can add the Art Studio to it. You'll still be able to join heists lead by other players, but if you want to go in solo or have control over the approach then you need to own a luxury property.
To help you out with this, there is a GTA$2,000,000 discount on Prix Luxury Real Estate currently available to GTA+ Members, while everyone can get 40% bonus GTA$ on all Shark Card purchases. If you'd prefer to not spend any of your own money, then Rockstar have also launched the Fine Art Collector Program with plenty of rewards including GTA$1,500,000 in cash – more on that below.
What is the GTA Online Fine Art Collector Program?
The GTA Online Fine Art Collector Program is running now through July 13, and is geared to set players up for the Kortz Center Heist. You can progress through various tiers of the program, which provide rewards as follows:
Tier 1 – Enthusiast
Simply play GTA Online before July 13 to become an Enthusiast, receiving GTA$500,000 and a free Benefactor Turreted Limo (Sedan) from Warstock Cache & Carry, which features armor plating and a roof-mounted Minigun to deal with threats.
Weekly digests, tales from the communities you love, and more
Tier 2 – Patron
To become a Patron you just need to complete any heist before July 13, which will award you with a cool GTA$1,000,000 and the NOOSE Outfit so you can go undercover as special forces.
Tier 3 – Elitist
The Elitist tier is reserved for those who already own a Mansion and play before July 13, unlocking a selection of rewards when The Kortz Center Heist launches. Included in that is a GTA$1,000,000 discount on the Art Studio Mansion upgrade required to plan this heist, a free Annihilator Stealth helicopter from Warstock Cache & Carry, plus a Sculpture and the opportunity to secure a unique Painting to add to your Mansion decorations.
Enthusiast and Patron rewards should be received within 72 hours of completing their requirements, while Elitist rewards will be given once The Kortz Center Heist becomes available in July.
