DBD The Black Banquet release date and details
The Black Banquet in DBD is an interesting new anniversary event in which food plays a huge part
The Black Banquet is a new DBD event, replacing the old Twisted Masquerade as the annual anniversary celebration. The opulence and decor you remember remains in the new setting, but the mechanics are entirely new, as you prepare or corrupt a lavish feast.
Of course, there are also heaps of new rewards to collect this year, as well as a new store collection, so here are the details of the DBD Black Banquet event, when it starts, and the rewards and outfits available.
DBD Black Banquet release date
The DBD Black Banquet event takes place from June 25, 2026 at 8am PT, 11am ET, 4pm BST, and runs until July 16.
We don't know a lot about The Black Banquet so far, but some details have been revealed. For a start, we know that, obviously, food is involved. This year, instead of picking up invitations or waiting for Trixie to trigger in-match events, survivors will be gathering ingredients for some disgusting corpse-based meals, unleashing more modifiers as you build out a great feast. All the while, killers will try and taint the food to turn things in their favor.
We also know about some of the outfits, cosmetics, and other rewards that will be available during the new event. These are based on the opulence of the banquet setting combined with some horrifying masks, and are available for The Legion, The Doctor, Kate, Claudette, The Trapper, The Oni, and The Trapper. Unfortunately, these are all only available for purchase, but, as ever, killer weapons, character masks, and player badges and banners will all be available for free for completing event quests.
For other free rewards, be sure to check out my list of the latest DBD codes, and take a look at what else is coming once the Banquet ends in the most recent DBD roadmap.

After studying Music and Lifestyle journalism and writing a column for a stylish lifestyle magazine in her hometown of Brighton, Danielle finally found her feet writing about videogames for WePC in 2021. She then honed her guides writing skills at PCGamesN between 2022 and 2026, when she took those skills to GamesRadar as a Guides Writer. Danielle's guides are a safe space - she definitely got stuck before you did, which is why she's perfect for the job. When she's not replaying the Silent Hill games or a more up-to-date single-player horror game, you'll find her fighting for her life in Dead by Daylight, tending to a garden in Stardew Valley, or doing both in Minecraft.
