Overwatch works freakishly well as an anime intro

So far Overwatch is a season of CGI shorts, a collection of historical lore entries, a bunch of comic books, and a video game. But this YouTube video proves that there's still at least one untapped angle for the Overwatch transmedia universe. Oh yeah, I'm talkin' anime.

All those clips were pulled from Blizzard's shorts and other cinematics, but YouTuber inkling inkling did a bang-up job editing them to the opening music from Arpeggio of Blue Steel -Ars Nova-. The only problem is that now I'm all set up to watch an Overwatch anime but I've only got the intro. I need to see D.Va going all tsundere on Zarya right now. "I-it's not like I wanted to block that Hanzo Ult for you or anything…!"

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
