Karen Allen talks Indiana Jones 5

After the debacle that was Crystal Skull , demand for a fifth Indiana Jones film must be close to an all-time low, and yet the issue keeps being mooted, this time by star Karen Allen.

According to Allen, it sounds as though the majority of the film’s key players are all raring to go once more, with everybody waiting on George Lucas to pull the trigger.

“I would,” she replied when asked whether she’d be up for another Indy film. “And I, in fact, just talked with Steven Spielberg recently - we e-mailed back and forth, and I said, ‘What should I say? I’m doing this publicity, what should I say if people ask me that question?’"

“He said, ‘It’s in George’s hands! I’m game, Harrison’s game, and now it’s up to George to write the script or to get the script organized, and the story.’ They want to do a fifth, from what I understand, but they don’t want to do it just to do it, they want to do it if they can come up with a story that everybody is happy with and that everybody likes.”

Easier said than done, if the last one is anything to go by. Still, it sounds like there might be some life in the old dog yet… direct your anger to the comments board, below!
