First look at Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor

The first look at a bald-headed Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice has been revealed via Entertainment Weekly.

Given that Eisenberg was an offbeat choice for Luthor, much younger than expected, it was never a certainty that he'd go for the classic look, but here he's sporting the hairless bonce rather intimidatingly.

Speaking to EW, director Zack Snyder confirmed that this would be a new take on the classic Superman villain: “He’s not any of the Lexes that you’ve seen, that’s for sure, other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course.”

Given all the attention that the film's titular heroes had been getting, it's nice for the villain to step into the limelight. Perhaps we'll get a glimpse of him in the first trailer, when that eventually arrives.

Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice opens on 25 March 2016.
