In the wake of 2.0, the Cyberpunk 2077 level cap is 60 if you have Phantom Liberty, but only 50 for those who don't, meaning that those who buy the DLC will be able to become stronger and have greater potential, presumably to handle the greater threats that Dogtown has to offer - it is one of the most lethal parts of Cyberpunk 2077, after all. There's also your Street Cred level, which hasn't been adjusted recently and remains the same even after the Phantom Liberty expansion and the Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update. We'll go over the full basics below, so you know what you're dealing with and what you have to expect going forward with the Cyberpunk 2077 level cap.

Cyberpunk 2077 Level Cap - Character Level

The Cyberpunk 2077 level cap for your V is now level 60 if you've got the Phantom Liberty expansion, but remains at level 50 otherwise.

Levelling up requires XP and you can earn varying amounts of it by doing pretty much anything in Night City. Each time you increase your level, you get one Attribute and Perk point to spend, but you can earn Perk points through other means too.

The maximum level for each Attribute is still level 20, however, so while you still can't max out all five Attributes to level 20, you will get closer thanks to those extra levels. Furthermore, how you spend your points within the Cyberpunk 2077 level cap will help you shape your Cyberpunk 2077 build. Remember, there's also the new Cyberpunk 2077 Relic skill tree to level up in Phantom Liberty.

Cyberpunk 2077 Street Cred cap

There's also a Cyberpunk 2077 Street Cred level cap, though this has not been increased since Phantom Liberty's release and remains at level 50.

Street Cred reputation is typically earned during missions and from completing side gigs and other activities out in the city. Higher Street Cred will earn you access to better gigs from Fixers, better discounts at shops, and an increased range of items from vendors, including ripperdocs and clothing stores.
