Avengers: Age Of Ultron reshoots set to add more action

Avengers: Age Of Ultron is planning reshoots for January, with The Daily Mail reporting that Joss Whedon is planning to add some more action to the mix.

The report claims that Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Paul Bettany, Scarlet Johansson and Tom Hiddleston have all been asked to clear a space in their schedules for a fortnight in January in order to film additional scenes at Pinewood Studios.

None of which is to suggest that the film is in any kind of trouble, merely that Whedon is keen to beef up some of the action sequences ahead of its release next year.

Meanwhile, the report goes on to claim that Avengers: Infinity War parts one and two will film back to back, which would make sense, given the two instalments are set to arrive in 2018 and 2019 respectively.

Directed by Joss Whedon, Avengers: Age Of Ultron will open in the UK on 24 April 2015 before arriving in the US on 1 May 2015.
