One of the more recent rumours to emerge from Batman vs. Superman is that Girls star Adam Driver is Warner’s first pick to play the vigilante, Nightwing.
However, according to the star himself, those rumours have been slightly trumped up, with no discussions having taken place at this stage.
“Not that I know of, no,” said Driver, when asked by Collider if he would be playing the older incarnation of Dick Grayson. “If you find out, let me know, then I'll know.”
That said, he was quick to make it clear that should the opportunity come his way, he wouldn’t think twice about taking it…
"That's like intensely flattering, as you can imagine,” says Driver. “It’s Batman and Superman… who doesn't want to be involved in something not only of that scale but of who those characters are?”
“That's an incredible world to be able to be in for a bit. Like who wouldn't want to do that?"
Directed by Zack Snyder, Batman vs. Superman will open in the US on 17 July 2015.
