Excalibur (1981)

The Original: Action fantasy directed by John Boorman based on the Arthurian legends.

Fan Version: Anywhere , which fuses an imagined scene from the film with Evanescence lyrics.

Most Disturbing Quote: She hears a noise coming from her door. She walks over and picks the piece of paper up of the ground. Walks back over to her bed and sits down. She unfolds the piece of paper, careful not to rip it. She can tell it's from Him, it's his hand writing.

'Dear my love, haven't you wanted to be with me?

Dear my love, haven't you longed to be free?

X-Men (2000)

The Original: Bryan Singer makes comic-book movies cool again as Patrick Stewart plays Professor X, leader of the X-Men.

Fan Version: A Model Xman , in which Jean Grey and Scott Summers recruit Zoolander ’s Derek, a mutant who could unite humans with X-Men.

Most Disturbing Quote: Derek's eyebrows arched like a bridge across his graceful nose, allowing an expression of fear to cross his face. As if his fears of being punched weren't enough, three long, flawless blades extended from between the man's knuckles.

"That's my money maker." Derek whimpered.

"Logan, stop!" Jean pretty much uselessly tried to restrain the man. "You don't know who that is!"

Pinocchio (1940)

The Original: Little wooden boy wants to be real. Seeks advice from the Blue Fairy.

Fan Version: You’re A Donkey Twice , in which Pinocchio helps James Bond take down SPECTRE.

Most Disturbing Quote: "I've been thinking on that too." Fowlfellow continued. "The Pleasure Island bit and "stupid little boys" is beating a dead horse by now. It failed on this island in 1881 and it failed again in Duckburg in that other world in 1951. Rather than changing "stupid little boys" who play hookey from school and vandalize property that no one cares about into donkeys I'm proposing that we go after the SMART little boys THROUGH their schools and Scout troops.

“In other words I'm proposing that we threaten to put your DNA donkey juice in the food and drink that goes to every school and Boy Scout Association in meeting place in Europe unless the unless the European governments cough up a payment equivalent to twenty billion Pounds Sterling. This is the sort of thing that SPECTRE has done on several occasions under Blofeld and can do again with your donkey DNA juice.

The Incredibles (2004)

The Original: Pixar’s loving ode to superhero movies.

Fan Version: Nightmare , in which Kari wishes she could get rid of Jack-Jack, and ends up summoning Labyrinth ’s Goblin King Jareth (David Bowie).

Most Disturbing Quote: "You him aren't you? You're the replacement babysitter!"

Jareth froze in the middle of doing his knowing smirk and frowned. Was that right?

"Thank goodness! Take care now. Bye!" Kari raced from the house. Jareth looked down at the innocently gurgling baby in confusion.

Toy Story (1995)

The Original: The adventures of Woody (Tom Hanks) and his fellow toys, whose lives are turned upside by the arrival of super-toy Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen).

Fan Version: A Toy Story/Golden Girls mash-up in which Dorothy (Bea Arthur) blackmails the toys into helping her rob a bank…

Most Disturbing Quote: Dorothy Zbornak aimed a gun at Woody's head, screaming, "Alright, bitches, time to rob a bank!"

The toys gasped. Dorothy grabbed Woody by the neck and squeezed him tight.

"Now now, Mrs. Zbornak," Buzz Lightyear said calmly. "I think we can come to an understanding here."

The Land Before Time (1988)

The Original: Adorable animated history lesson. A group of young dinosaurs attempt to survive despite insurmountable odds.

Fan Version: Land Before Time: Voyage Through Time , which sees our dino quintet taken prisoner by soviet spetznaz.

Most Disturbing Quote: “This was incredible! It marked a new chapter in the world they lived in. For the first time, they had come into contact with something completely unknown, evidently completely separate form their own world.”

Saw (2004)

The Original: Death trap horror flick in which characters must prove their selflessness in order to evade a brutal death.

Fan Version:
Death Lock , which splices Saw with High School Musical…

Most Disturbing Quote: Troy awoke in a white tiled room, illuminated only by flashing florescent lights. "Hey, where am I?" he called, his voice upbeat as always. "Gabriella, did you do this?"

"No, it was me!" yelled a scraggly-voiced man.

"Zeke, is that you?" Troy called out, jokingly.

"No, you idiot!" the man yelled. "It's me... Saw! You have five minutes to sink a basketball into this hoop before the room fills up with toxic gas and kills you."

Tron (1982)

The Original: Hacker Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) gets sucked into a computer.

Fan Version: My Little Program , a crossover with My Little Pony in which Twilight Sparkle and friends find themselves on the Grid…

Most Disturbing Quote: Every pony stopped, gaping up at the large, ominous ship floating above the large structure smack-dab in the middle of the Grid. "Woah," was all Rainbow Dash was able to say. The others just nodded along with her, not having anything else to add to that.

The two programs herded the ponies onto the ship, all of the other programs at their stations, carrying out their work, staring at them. A female program who had been clacking away on a sort of rectangular thing stood, then hollered out, "Xeta! What are you doing, aren't you supposed to be on duty? What are those?"

Lord Of The Rings (2001-2003)

The Original: Based on JRR Tolkien’s thousand-page trilogy and following hobbit Frodo’s quest to destroy the One Ring.

Fan Version: What Frodo Knows , a forbidden romance which finds Frodo pregnant with Aragorn’s love-child.

Most Disturbing Quote: “Aragorn, calm yourself. It is nothing another seven months won't cure.”

Avengers Assemble (2012)

The Original: The Avengers unite on the big screen for one of the hugest blockbusters we’ve ever seen. Hulk is awesome.

Fan Version: What Happened To Fury’s Eye , alt title Simba, The Almost Avenger . Yes, it’s an Avengers/Lion King crossover…

Most Disturbing Quote: “Simba,” Fury said again. “You're the king of all the sun touches. I like that. How would you like to join the Avengers Initiative? “Nick was trying to be calm and soothing, but his voice and appearance (and his gun) were putting the lion on edge.
