Deleted Star Wars: The Force Awakens scene finally shows Chewbacca ripping an arm off

Until now we'd only heard about the deleted Star Wars: the Force Awakens scene where Chewbacca rips someone's arm out. However the extra, which was first teased as part of the The Force Awakens’ 3D Collector’s Edition DVD and Blu-ray, has finally arrived online.

As you can see, the scene shows Rey's former boss/owner from Jakku, Unkar Plutt, trying to throw his weight around in Maz Kanata’s bar and getting to see why you never want to make a wookiee angry.

Cutting it was a good call. While there's no shortage of violence and threat in the Star Wars universe, there's something a little off about seeing Chewie tear an arm out at the socket.

Directed by JJ Abrams and starring Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Andy Serkis, Oscar Isaac and Gwendoline Christie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens 3D Collector's Edition is available now.
