Tribute to LucasArts Livestream 3pm (PST)

LucasArts was regrettably laid to rest by Disney earlier this week, after 30 years of creating amazing, memorable games. A lot of us grew up playing these classics, and we want to send them off in style by showcasing them here today. For many of us, LucasArts games were the only way we could fully immerse ourselves in the Star Wars universe, not to mention dozens of other, equally imaginative realms.

Join us today at 3pm (PST) as we pour one out for our homies (we drink Coke in the office, but you can have a glass of whatever you like at home, blue milk is a plus) by playing Battlefront 2, Dark Forces, Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2, Jedi Outcast.

I was one of the people who got to live in the golden age of Lucasarts so I wasn't exactly too upset when I learned that their IP's were going to someone that might actually do something with them. Then I read Warren Spector's comments on creating Epic Mickey under Disney. Now I'm afraid.

What a waste and sad thing to happen to the gaming world XO

If only the Chinese could have saved them.
