Shootmania Storm announcement trailer is awesome

The title pretty much sums it up

On any given day, we probably watch half a dozen game trailers. A full dozen on a good day. So believe us when we say that Shootmania is one of the best we've seen in a while. It takes a relatively mundane subject: the deathmatch, and turns it into a sort of modern day Tron, complete with mini-narratives. Exquisite.

What's most exciting about the game is that it's coming from TrackMania developer Nadeo, who is bringing the same ethos to the shooter genre. The level pictured here was developed with the game's level creator which will be available to players.

    I thought the falling down a ledge scene while still shooting enemies was pretty badass

    Did we watch the same trailer? Cause that just seemed a bit blah. The level looked nice and all but one model file for the player(s?) and but one weapon to be seen. Just seems like it would get old fast. Mind you the fact that the level editor will be available to the players is freaking AWESOME.... but the game lost me again at Ubisoft.
